Jackson: Pouncey's future with team looks good

Joe Philbin said May 2nd is the target day to make a decision on Mike Pouncey's fifth year option. "We haven't made a decision on that."

His fifth year option is 2015, correct? What was the projected salary for that year? I was under the impression he was one of the players we needed to re-sign next off season, but if we pick up the option that extension will be deferred for a year.

Eh, he's gone this long without getting officially busted for anything I suppose. Just gotta hope he doesn't get ****y and and start slipping. He is a very good center (better be for the highest drafted at the position, ever), so it would be pretty ****ty if he missed some games for being an off-the-field idiot.

I wonder how some of these reactions would read if he was a Patriot...
