Jackson: some Dolphins officials not sold on Flynn

Well we're in an enviable position in that the guy who needs to start his HC career off positively knows Flynn better than most anyone else. So if he wants to entrust his career to Flynn then I'm all in too!

However, if he's lukewarm or if we had any other HC, ain't no way I can get enthusiastic about a 2 game wonder who was a 7th round draft pick out of a terrible pro QB-nurturing college program who his own starting QB, one of the greatest in the game projects could be a "top 15" QB. If Philbin won't go the extra mile for Flynn, I'd rather go with Moore who has a history of uplifting bad teams with which he's he's been saddled being at least 15% more successful than the bad/underperforming teams he's played for.


As the saying more or less goes: Comparing the mystery devil behind Door No. 3 to the devil we do know:
Flynn: 1-1 or .500 winning percentage over 2 starts over 2 seasons for teams with a combined 78% winning record
Moore: 13-12 or 52% winning percentage over 25 starts over 4 seasons for teams with a combined 36.5% winning record

Never in the history of everdom have dump-off passes been so highly touted. Say no to Matt Flynn
 
It is such BS around here. People seem to love Philbin and trust him...well if that is the case let him get his QB to start his coaching career with. If Philbin wants Flynn, Ireland and Ross need to make it happen.

Let Philbin be tied to Flynn rightly or wrongly.

it means i believe you fabricated that out of thin air...but it's well known by all how much you dislike flynn...i like him more than many of you do i'm not gonna sit here and say anything stupid like he's a lock franchise qb but he does have some talents and when he has gotten his chance has faired pretty well and there's potential for a high end qb there...but really at this point our options are diminishing every day andwe can protect ourselves imo with a flynn contract should he fail and i'll take the potential of an unknown quantity any day in flynn over the ceiling of a matt moore...i know matt moore's not good enough at this point...i can't say that about matt flynn as a fit in this philbin lead offense which if flynn comes here will be about timing and accuracy and ball placement and run after the catch from the receivers and not about throwing the ball through bricks walls on 40 yard ropes...
