Jacksons latest - Front 7 Def Round 1!!!

Cunningham, Haason, and Willis... have to be strong/reasonable considerations and I thing things will change after the combine.

I'm a Charles harris wide 9 fit guy

Derek Barnett is either gonna alleviate every down concerns as a sub pass rusher at the combine and go well ahead of us or test so meh that Miami would be dumb to draft him at 22 given the class talent overall...if he test average enough there will be a lot of sub package concerns in terms of finish on the qb...of course his weight has to be considered but that wont matter for sub finish verification...that kids combine is huge for him
 
Barnett broke the sack record playing in the SEC, that works for me but damn we need LBs in a bad way. I would love to see us get Barnett in the 1st and pick up Boulware from Clemson later.
 
Charles harris first 2 steps upfield even when the balls away from him are wow type stuff

you hone that in and develop a bull rush and you could have yourself a murderous edge rusher

just come in 6 foot 2 plus and 255 and I'm in...give me a solid bench press also
 
I expect Kpassagnon to leapfrog most of the DE's and end up around a top-10 pick. Maybe I'm seeing things, and he's not as freaky as he looks, but between 280-290, he should run in the 4.7's, and he should perform well for his size in the explosion and agility drills. He started to put it together this year, and he was as dominant as he should have been. Still plenty of room for growth, but that frame and those tools make for a dream DE prospect. Seems like a cool dude with solid priorities, too.

Heard them discuss Charles Harris on Sirius NFL radio today. They didn't like him. Said he was not just light but far too light and wouldn't hold up against NFL O-lines. They said he needed to put on over 20 lbs immediately. Sorry I forget the announcer, but he was extremely critical, despite his good college performances.

well I said 255 but we'll see

I used to be all about guys who can play 3 downs but top 10 values are guys that can sack the qb...it's much easier to find 2 down types later see derrick Shelby even a 7th round pick but guys that get you off the field as pass rushers don't usually last into the 20's...not ones with high level tools

That Boulware guy from Clemson was everywhere during the Championship game.
 
You draft Harris based on pass rush tools and hope he develops the rest of his game and doesn't have the character stuff guys from that alma mater recently do. He'd have to blow away the combine for me to go there at 22. I'd rather go LB if he's the top DE choice there. Big pass for me.
