As a Minnesota Golden Gopher fan, I encourage you to watch Omar Jacobs tear up the Wisconsin Badger defense on Saturday. Should be a good time. Wherever we finish this year, I hope that Omar Jacobs is our pick. I'm just a big fan.

So far all of the Mock drafts I've seen have him going from the top 5 range to around 15 at the lowest. I've seen a couple that have us taking him. I know I shouldn't be looking towards the draft already, but I'm keeping an eye on it. Saban has said that this might take a couple years...

99% of you guys have never seen Omar play or even know what color his team's uniform is. He's had one great year, in a spread offense designed to put up huge QB #s vs 6 defenses ranked 100+. Remember Heisman hopeful Josh Harris from Bowling Green? Omar has a good arm & obviously has good decision making out of the spread but have clear mechanic problems.

Look at all the recent spread offense teams whose QBs put up huge number that many of you went goo goo eyes over: Florida, Utah, Texas Tech, Purdue, Bowling Green... Doesn't exactly translate to the NFL very well.

exactaly matt is the only one in the top 20 and we wont get matt our best bet is to go after brees everybody can 4 get rivers his cap #s speak 4 themselves so imo the only other qb besides matt is brees and he is ready to take over a team and win now and if we wont to go after omar than maybe we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd round but imo brees is our guy
