He’s sucks! I’ve always thought he sucked and nothing I’ve seen recently has changed my mind. I’d rather have Moore, Fitz or any backup we’ve watched in the last 5 years except maybe Osweiler. I’d put him at that level.

Small sample size but he just seems slow. His throwing motion and reaction time. Maybe its lack of practice with the first team
If he was great, he wouldn’t have been available. I think he’s competent to hold down the fort for a week or two. Not that anyone will survive if they have free rushers in their face in two seconds or less, though.
At least he's a big boy that should satisfy some of the size queens around here.

I don't think Tua is the answer, so I would have kept Fitz... for now. Build a competent o-line and running game, and then get your new QB. We just saw what happens when you put an inexperienced, smaller QB behind a terrible line!
We also saw what happened when you put an experienced big QB behind this terrible line----> 35-0. We also saw what happens when you put a big, strong, generational talent behind a terrible line ie Andrew Luck. The answer is injuries and early retirement.
