Jags Definitely Looking To Trade Down

I love how every year we talk about the fins trading our of their pick but the team picking right before us always seems to have the desire to do the same and their pick is deemed more tradeable than ours.

I also love how fins fans whine about us not having a qb then say we need to draft an impact player at 8 instead of a developmental ably with great intangibles like Tannehill.

I read that half of the top-10 wants to trade down. If someone wants to move up, they won't have a problem finding a partner.

I would rather trade down. We are far from a SB caliber team and I believe our FO knows it. They will want as many picks as possible to get as many needs as they can filled.

what I dont get is so many people act like they trust this regime in the draft to find the best players but seem resigned that its better that another team jumps in front of us to save us from ourselves. Seems like we really dont have much faith in the people drafting

I don't have faith in Jeff Ireland.

Just so long as we can grab Floyd and then trade up into the high teens to snag Weeden, I'm perfectly fine with KC leapfrogging us.

I guess you really can't be more open about wanting to trade down than the Jaguars are being.

I predict the Chief's will trade up draft Tannehill.

as i recalled one great poster stated last month:

As you know last year I was correct with my first round pick well before the experts, in the pick of m. pouncey. Well once again the pick is in. After reviewing his workout the pick will be tannehill. This of course depends if he is still on the board. The way things look, Miami may deal one of there 3rd round picks to move up to #7 to secure the pick. The chiefs and the Browns may try to leap frog miami and move into #7, and Jeff will have none of that.

SO let it be written and so let it be done. That scenario is probably the most plausible one I have heard to date.
