Jaguars Moving Down?...Peter King of SI.com reports the Jaguars, desperate for any pass-rush help, will trade out of the 26th pick to go high in the second round for an extra pick or picks because they've got a few players clumped together after the premier pass-rushers come off the board. Hmmm? Do I smell a trade coming?

Peter King just got that from the team's homepage. I read that in one of the articles there yesterday. It was just speculation however.

If they can trade down I would surmise that they would try to use one of these extra picks in the 2nd round that they would get via the tradedown to parlay into a trade of some sort for a pass rusher (Taylor).

Yea . . . 26 would be an ideal trade down spot to possibly grab a QB . . . maybe ATL likes Flaco or Henne or Brohm . . . they certainly have the ammo to move up with 34, 37 and another 2nd rounder.

Jville trades #26 to ATL for one of the early 2nd rounders that they have and probably their 4th (this would be the only glitch, I'm not sure about the compensation to Jville to move down 8 spots . . . but I guess a early 4th would be enuff). . . Jville swings that #34 to Miami for Taylor.

So . . .

ATL gets Brohm (and keeps 2 2nd rounders . . . plus they draft Dorsey with the first pick)
Jville gets JT and a additional early 4th from ATL
Miami gets #34

It could work.
