Hey fellas, I live here in Jax-yuck, and the local sports radio is ridiculously going off by homers.I know they back their team, but, "The jags will win big, they either stink (Texans) or play big (Giants). They will win big in Miami."

What about the Fins says we will be walked on? It it the play of Taylor, the fact we won 4 straught including Chicago and the Chiefs, or how our secondary is coming on?

Freakin' homers.....

Psst.....we, the family of Finheaven, are a bunch of homers, too! :dolphins:

I live in Jacksonville too. So, I know exactly what you experience. Are you going to the game? I am ready for the 7 hour drive that kicks off Saturday afternoon.

The Jags are really hanging their hat on the fact they respond well after a loss and that they play well against good teams. That's good and all, but if you look at the "quality" opponents they beat it doesn't concern me as much. They beat Dallas on opening day. They beat a Pittsburgh team that has shown they aren't very good, plus Roethlisberger just came back from surgery. They beat a NY Jets team that after a good start was in the middle of a slide, same goes with Philadelphia, and NY Giants. All three of those, the Jaguars caught at the right time. Not to mention, other than the Philadelphia game, were a home game, a primtime game, or a "Game of the Week". The Jaguars have only had to face a team like Miami which is in the midst of a nice winning streak once, which was the Indianapolis Colts.

I think it's going to be a difficult game, because the Jaguars are a "tough" team, but I don't think those factors all the radio show hosts are talking about are that big of a deal.

haha thats ridiculous for any jags fan to say they are going to come in here, an instate rival, and stomp us, we're hot right now and i know the players know that if they win this game they will be .500 and thats something that havnt reached all season and have been striving to reach since the 1-6 start...now thats going to be something hard for the jags to overcome if you ask me, for them to think they are going to be the only team on the field sunday for something to play for this sunday then they dont know what kind of team they are dealing with

Im not going to the game..wish I was.
I think we go up nicely against the Jags. They certainly dont have anything we cant answer for.

well i disagree with them and they are thinking because they lost two games to the texans...they are famous now for over looking "weaker" opponants and the miami dolphins have a habit of playing streangth for streangth meaning when we play the the stronger teams we play lights out great football but when we play the weaker teams we make plays and mistakes that makes people wonder

They are forgetting the part about how their team sucks on the road.

Don't think for one second that the Jaguars are going to suck because they don't play well on the road. Other than the loss at Houston, they were in every game and had a chance to win. It's going to be a very difficult game. I hope we come out on top.

So you expect their home town media markets don't pay the DJs to get behind a mic and rip the home town team? The Ticket does the same thing down here in Miami. Get used to it or don't listen to local sports stations.

I hate living in Jacksonville and listening to the dip**** sports media here. Their favorite team to dump on is the Dolphins, and they take any opportunity they get to make some snide remarks about them throughout the season. I think it's because before the Jags existed they were all Dolphins fans, so they feel the need to justify their bandwagoning crap by making the Dolphins look bad.

Jags fans are bitter b/c Miami is and always will be the most popular team in Florida.
