I just heard this on Sirius NFL radio, so Im sorry I dont have a link. It was just reported that the Jaguars offered the Dolphins a 3rd round pick for Jason Taylor and the Dolphins declined their offer.

Make it a 3rd and 5th :D

I really want him gone.

this was known about a long time ago actually

C'mon Jacksonville, you can do better than that. You let Marcus Stroud go for a 3rd and 5th round pick. JT is worth at least that, if not more.

2nd this and a 5th next season sound fair

you want him gone so bad your willing to take far less than what he is valued at..

NO LESS THAN A 2ND and an additional pick...

A 3rd.. you have to be freakin kidding me. The Jags must not want t o win that badly

It was reported that the trade was offered yesterday.

they may have tried again then, this is the first I have heard of a new one if it is true. They offered a 3rd then too. Nice find.

3rd and 5th is not enough
Jacksonville picks at the bottom of the 3rd round

this story was report about a week ago ......(maybe 2)

This time next week we will all know..........

In his prime JT was worth a 1st pick but his career can't have too many years left. But he still plays at a very high level so I think a 2nd and a 3rd would be ideal, but a 3rd and 4th are more likely to be offered.

Ok, I guess they must feel pretty content to finish second in the AFC South every year and continue to be the Colts whupping boy.

Without an improved pass rush, the Jags won't get past the Colts. Taylor would really improve that defense and the Jags have an extra 3rd rounder, so...

A 2nd and 4th sounds good, but I'd settle for BOTH 3rd rounders. JT gets a chance at a ring, and the Phins get much needed draft picks to speed up the rebuilding process. A win-win for everyone.

Or we could get more creative and swap #32 and JT for #26 and a third rounder. A good move if the Dolphins take Chris Long and need an OT, or maybe they take Jake Long and move up to grab Dan Connor LB?

draft order
2(32)Dolphins
2(57)dolphins
2(58)Jacksonville

3(64) Dolphins
3(89) Jacksonville

JT trade value is worth more then the 89 player in this year draft
