Guys Im in stock watching New Moon cause the fiance wanted to watch it, feel like Im breaking a man law. Anyways I cant post link, but Carlos Frias is reporting that Grove has an ankle sprain. The injuries to the other lineman were not serious. Big Jake last year tough it out and I expect Grove to the same. He has ten days to recover and I dont think a sprain is enough to keep him out.

Grove looked like caged lion on the sidelines and I expect him to release some of that nastiness against the Bills

was hoping it wasn't the high ankle sprain. crap...

and lulz at new moon

dude is a worrier

I think we have the best C in the game know

He has worked his way to being one of my favorite players

yes the Center is in with Brown Bess Taylor and Williams

I love how he maned up even tough he was hurt and tried to get in the game looking for his helmet

If it is a high ankle sprain hes not going to recover in 10 days. He may be able to play on it.....dunno how it effects linemen. But he'll be feeling that for a while.

If it isn't a snowstorm, I think we can take the Bills with Berger at center. When Berger was in there for those few plays at center last night, we were gashing Carolina up the middle and it didn't look like we missed a beat.

Yeah I know it's a very small sample size.

But the Bills have the worst run defense in the league.

Get Grove ready for New England against Vince Wilfork at home.. Be safe with him. There's no reason to push him for the Buffalo game when he has had an injury history and can further injure that ankle.. Give him 17 days.

This is why we signed Berger. I would only have Grove active for the Buffalo game to sit on the sideline (if he is something like 75 - 99%), in case there is another calamity at the center position.. But otherwise keep him on the bench.

With Ronnie done, i thought Grove may be our only other Pro Bowler, jake long has a good chance this year as well since peters is in the NFC, joe thomas isnt having a good season, it should be Long, Clady and Roos?

A High ankle sprain for a RB will put them out 3-4 weeks, for a center, you dont have to cut as much, but your ankles help you block mammoth 3-4 NTs..

10 days might be good enough, but we could have berger out there and beat buffalo. we NEED grove vrs wilfork, so thats 17 days. If he's not playing that game he's a wuss, so go get em homie.

Jake long had the same Injury last year he plays LT. The kid tough it out and im sure Grove will do the same, for a position that requires less movement

Thanks for the links. They have all weekend to rest they have all next week. Im pretty sure he could go. Culver played with a sprained ankle against the Panthers and the guy made some key plays.

His red zone INT was amazing.

Actually, it wasn't that amazing since it was Jones. My bad.

You're right Grey. Berger can play against the Bills. Grove needs to be ready for Wilfork.

BTW guys Big Jake Long did play with a high ankle sprain last year and started all 16 games. My bet is Grove toughs it out with 10 day rest. Like I said Grove is one mean SOB. The guy had a determination to come back in the game & I bet if he could have he would have. Gotta love that fire in an O-linemen.

Couldn't agree more. We should be fine with Berger for the Bills. We're going to need Grove for NE, so resting him would be best imo.
