Jake Long getting beat?

That's right...I was shocked to see Long get beat on a few plays. Even the guys at the bar were questioning Long getting beat. One guy asked me "is that Long getting beat? That's unheard of." It's sad that the losing is rubbing off on the best of our players.

what do you hope to achieve/bring to the table in this post?
 
This is why so many people are questioning the coaching. Players that have shown to be good in the past (Marshall, Dansby, Bush, Long, Wake, Bell, pretty much the whole defense) have been terrible. Perhaps they gave up on Tony after last season. But I dont see a lick of heart or desire out there on the field...and to me the coach's job is to inspire that in the players.
 
Maybe he is trying to say... when it sucks, we really suck...even the great players.

I still think Long is playing hurt, but even then... Nobody is perfect. He is our best player on offense, it is a shame he cannot score points, only help to score them.

I think this is what he is the point that he is trying to get across. If not, it should be.

Right now our "best" players are just part of this team's cannon fodder mentality. Everyone looks like crap.
 
Long hasn't been right since the season started.

The bye weeks is coming at the right time. Too many important players are stinkin' it up or injured.

Two weeks to get healthy for the Jets. I don't care where you sit on the suck for luck debate, that game is a must win.
 
long hasnt been 100% for almost two seasons. . . its sad but true. Im beginning to worry that it may not be something that will ever be right. . . KNOCKS ON WOOD AND CRYS AT SAME TIME!!!
 
Long is like everyone else on this team "playing for Tony's job"...we know now what they all think of Tony and his job...

One more reason to get a new regime in here asap. Realize this is a lost season and sit big Jake down.

I was just about to say the same thing.......if he isn't 100%, then shut him down. Get the knee cleaned up now. No sense risking his career on a season that is already in the toilet.

Seriously, there is something wrong. In 4 games, we have faced the Pats, Texans, Browns, and Chargers. Not one of those teams has a great pass rush. The only good-to-great pass rushed out of all 4 of those teams is Mario Williams. Yet, Jake has been leaking sacks. It is a serious concern right now. Larry English????
