I was just watching ESPN and they had a short special on Jake Long the LT from Michigan. They said that the Dolphins have ruled out drafting a QB and that Jake Long could be there man

I really dont know anymore who I think the Dolphins should draft. I trust Parcells to make the right decision. Even though I am against using the first overall pick on an OL or DL, I just want us to take a player that will be productive and pro-bowl material for years to come in Dolphins teal.
 
I don't see us using a # 1 overall on an O-lineman either....we could bring in Faneca from the Steelers for a lot less, and we know he is a pro bowler.
 
I dont want Jake Long i am sure he is a good Offense lineman but i think that we should get Chris Long or Glenn Dorsey

So you Pick The ONE Sack that he gave up in 13 games. good job of researching. he had zero penalties all year and gave up one sack. that stat is no lie, also if you watched any michigan games you would know that 90% of their run plays went behind Jake long. s before people criticize maybe you should research instead of posting ignorant.
The only way you get a pass on this is if you are a ****eye fan

They said that "if" the Dolphins rule out drafting a QB. I think Matt Ryan is still in play to be drafted.
 
Parcells and Ireland are already doing a great job of keeping people guesing as to what we're going to do....lol

I dont understand what all the debate is about.

Glenn Dorsey = Great if we play a base 4-3
Chris Long = Great pickup for the dolphins if going to a 3-4
Matt Ryan = Great pickup if the Dolphins arent sold on Beck
Jake Long = Great pickup....regardless.
Trade Down = Best case scenario but probably not going to happen

We cant lose imho....I truly believe we have 4 great players who would all fill needs for us. I think parcells and co will pull the triggr on Chris Long, but i wont care either way we are getting one of the, If not the, best prospect in the draft....
 
Glenn Dorsey is going to be a good player no doubt. his strength alone will get him through "the speed of the game" adjustment. Chris Long looks to be an amazing player also and he's got the pedigree of greatness on his side. i say trade down and pick up some more pieces but i think the pick should be Glenn if we dont
 
IDFinFan I couldn't have said it any better, basically it's a win/win/win/win/win situation with every scenario.Sign A.Faneca draft J.Long and watch R.Brown rush for 2000 yards.Now all of a sudden J.Beck looks great off of play action pass.Good luck AFC East Defenses let the physical beat down begin!!!

i watched jake play week in, week out for the last 2 or 3 years. he's an unbelievable player. im not sure why so many are so down on him. he's an outstanding blocker, has good size, and he's a leader. id be happy with him as our pick, however i would be happy with all the names being mentioned too really...
