Jake is starting to build a solid resume for a top-tier tackle. He has a long way to go before is in that crowd, but lets look at his resume.


  1. Shutout Mario Williams forcing the Texans to move him to Carey's side.
  2. One sack allowed
  3. Dominating Richard Seymour
Not too bad for a rookie!

Mario moves around in every game.....

Seriously dudette, your slavishly fixated adoration of Matty Ice can only lead in the direction of him filing a restraining order sooner or later... and doesn't a handsome guy like him already have a sweetiepie??

Bottom-line: 90% of FH is not only happy, but thrilled with the selection of Jake Long.. .. if you can't accept that, maybe it's time for a hiatus.

oh and you have to wonder why, since they move mario around in every game- they decided it was best if they didnt move him BACK

Well unfortunatly for you, you wont know if he is overrated for at least 4 years- let the guy shave for the first time before you start calling him hall of fame :lol:
 
According to TedslimJr..., Jake has to dsigrace Terrell Suggs and John Abraham and Demarcus Ware before he is considered worthy...

All light weights..., can you say Boselli VS. JT all over again... Ask JT who won that battle...?

Those lightweights are among the leagues leading sackers every year...

Chris Williams has already faced John Abraham, Dwight Freeney, Julius Peppers, Gaines Adams, and Trent Cole....

Somebody tell me how many sacks he's given up?

Furthermore, I can accept the love affair with Jake Long....

I'm waiting for someone to make a case as to why Jake Long SPECIFICALLY was the only right pick for the Dolphins....other than "Our offensive line sucks and Parcells picked him"....

I believe Chris went 14th overall so how were we to draft M Ryan at no.1 and then chris at no. 14...? Just curious...:rolleyes:
