Long has been very good this year if im not mistaken. After he got benched, he started playing great.

is dolphins related because we have a problem with our offensive line, and a bullying case involving the offensive line, if Long was a leader in the past, he could had prevented all of this, so yes, it is dolphins related in many ways.

The irony is that while his on the field performance didn't warrant the money, his decent leadership in the O-line room probably helped to better manage some of the personality differences. It may not be a coincidence that he ended up leaving. Maybe he knew some of the problems and it was easier to depart than to stick around, even after Richie's public cajoling for him to stay. To paraphrase "Jake - you complete me".
