Jake Long's knee "definitely does not look right"

I would like to see big Jake play one drive this preseason. No reason to throw him out there.

So you think Tucker walked up to Jake and asked him to pull down the sleeve on his knee? You think Jake, Sparano and the trainers would allow that knowing how confidential these guys like to keep injuries?

Maybe Tony was busy watching Dan Carpenter warm up. The guy gets kind of "warm and fuzzy" when Dan boots one through the uprights.

I am PRAYING that Jake Long will be ok. He's a great guy and a hell of a player. If we lose Jake, this offense is done and this team is done, regardless of how good the defense is.

Wow! LMFAO @ some of you arguing about Tucker's observations. I have no opinion on the guy but you all know exactly what he meant. Your obtuseness is pathetic. Blowing back at some reporter (or poster) about a players injury might make you feel like a "real" fan, but if Long's knee really isn't 100%, your silly little denials won't make it healthy.

Blah blah blah blah blah. Get real. Are we going to panic every time some dirt bag reporter tries to break a story?

i wish i could be that good with my observation skills, you wouldnt even have to come in the office just send a video to me

The guy's job is to provide news to fans of the team and for this he gets labeled a 'dirtbag reporter.' This guy is one of the most positive people covering the team and he still gets this tag. Unbelievable.

Your right his job is to report not create stories if he cant find one. How hard would it have been to get concrete info on this before sending everyone into a stir? Whats next Reggie Bush actually has three torn ligaments and will miss the season. You dont post injury updates about a teams best player based on a 100 yard observation. Good thing he is not in Afghanastan.

In other news Sparano announces the starters will play until he is sick of seeing them in preseason game 2. Good to see Sparano learns from his mistakes!

Yet you're judging him when you have know idea how he obtained his information. Does that make you a dirtbag poster?

Gotta love Twitter. I'm not going to say it "isn't" a big deal . . . but it really isn't until we get better confirmation. All this really is, is speculation about Jake Long's knee. Nothing more, nothing less. It is a claim to "be right first". If Jake starts at LT for Miami in week 1, this will be an afterthought . . . if he doesn't . . . the term "first" (which is often used in popular blogs) now applies to this situation.

Jake isn't my concern anyways, it is the rest of the OLine . . . we had Jake healthy last year and it didn't help the inside running game.

What panic? WTF are you talking about? Try reading my comments again. Pay close attention to the word "if".
