Just a question - and I hate to start a thread about something stupid like this - but is Jake Long wearing number 77 or 79? The roster shows 77, but the pic of him on ESPN shows him wearing 79.

I ask only because I just bought a Long jersey (with 77), and it would be just my luck that he would be 79. It seems like every time I buy a jersey, something happens to make it worthless. Lol

Ex -I have R. Williams, C. Chambers (bought a week before he was traded), and J. Porter. At least Porter is still with the team. Lol. Used to have a Culpepper jersey, which I gave away last year.

So, anyone been at camp and could verify that he's wearing 77? Sure would put my mind at ease... Thanks!

no sweat bro.......... 77 is his number....... when he got here Drew Mormino had 77 so he took 79.... when we cut Mormino: Long gladly dropped the 79 for 77

Thanks for the response guys. Definitely put my mind at ease. Although, I'm a little disappointed I didn't figure out the Mormino thing myself...I've lost my touch.
 
yeah hoping the lucky number "7"'s will help the "bullets" we have in the backfield. ill wait and see if we have a qb show through next season before i get another one. i missed out on the cheap ronnie brown ones from ebay. by the time i got drunk and motivated to buy they were out of my size. oh well heres to looking for a good season
 
I'm glad he got it switched to 77. I just ordered a custom jersey that is half Michigan half Miami right down the center. Looks pretty sweet.
