Jake Rudock Impressive

I'm hoping we keep him in the 53. I know that'd get another player at another position but once we're in the middle of the season an injuries start to happen he could have some trade value.
I'd like that, being able to grab a 6th or 7th round pick for an UDFA is huge.

He'll either be claimed or potentially put on the P.S. . There is a possibility he gets poached from the PS, eventually, if and when another team needs a Backup QB.

Jake Rudock going into his 4th year so he may not be practice squad available, doesn't matter that he did that he did against 2nd and 3rd stringers there still value there, show a spark that you can play in the NFL and you will have GM's interested, that's exactly what Rudock showed last night.

Yeah, I don't see Miami keeping three quarterbacks. Most likely ends up with another team.

Nothing to see here. If Murdock looked to be all that in practice I assume the coaches would of made an opportunity in previous games to get him time with the 1s and 2s to see how he does.

The chances of him developing into a top 20 QB, let alone top 10 and if a team doesn't have a top 10 QB then they are in need of an upgrade, is less than .0001%

Trade value is nil. Teams that lose QBs in the regular season are looking for veteran QBs to fill the void.

If your last roster spot comes down to players like Jake Rudock, Tory McTyer, Hartage, Mark Walton and Hendrix. I'd be very tempted to keep Rudock. Definitely impressed as a decent backup QB and exceeded expectations. It is so hard to find decent backup QBs, players like Matt Moore have been picked up 18 months after retiring. Rudock made plays right through the preseason. I'd like to keep him up my sleeve even though it goes against the tradition that teams only keep 2 QBs on the roster.

He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2016 draft by the Lions. Still, would be nice to get something for someone we got for nothing though.
Wow, can't believe I thought he was a rookie this whole time. I just assumed it was a different Rudock, damn lol

I agree. This may sound dumb, but before he was named the starter, I would not have had a problem if they tried to trade Fitz to a team like the Colts, and just ride with Rosen and Rudock.

One of them proves to be starting material during the season...Great news, if they fail, you go QB shopping next year.

Hope they keep three, and use Rudock as the emegency QB.
