While the ink is still drying, what number do you think Jake will wear? Drew Mormino already holds 77. Maybe he will give it to Jake.

Since Jake is still heading to New York, I think it would be cool if they could get a jersey with his name and actual number on the jersey for him to hold up.
Just a thought. It would be cool because you never see it done and make Miami look good for getting the deal done so early.

How about #71? Take the 7 from his college number, and add the 1 to symbolize he was the number one overall pick. That way, you would have, Jake wearing #71 on the left side, and Vernon Carey would be wearing #72 on the right side. That's just me, I think it would be pretty cool.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I was thinking the same thing about Saturday, getting his real jersey and everything. I bet that's what happens. It would be stupid to sign him days before the draft and have him hold up a jersey that says 1, or 08. Those are the ones that you have in your room and give to whoever you decide on that day, not when you have your guy signed already.
