Easy choice if he is there. After that stop making it so hard, draft linemen from Alabams, LSU, FSU, Wisconsin. Not sure why we always try to pull a rabbit out of the hat with linemen from nowhere. go after the big boys, its not rocket science.

Oh we have definitely tried the cornfed approach. Like usual, it didn't work either.

It is rare, but I agree with butch on this one. Take the big school oline players.
They were higher regarded and played against better competition.
These small school guys should be late picks if at all.
WE need corn fed, not ballet dancers.

Ill never understand how we end up with guys like Jordan Tripp out of Montana when Christian Jones from FSU is on the board. It defies logic, guy was a key contributor on a National Championship team who now leads the Bears in tackles, and we end up with some guy no one ever heard of........ I think these guys try to justify their paycheck by thinking they can find the diamond in the rough, just do the logical thing, it doesn't seem that hard. Reshad Jones was the #1 rated player coming out of high school and played well at Ga. how does he last until the 5th round??????

Lots of crappy coaching going on high D1 schools, that how a Reshard Jones last to the 5th round. I do agree with taking players from high D1 schools, the level of competition just between the 1s and 2s is better than most D2 schools.

Seems like we bring the GM's that want to be cute and try making a name for themselves by finding the "off the radar guy." Screw that, look at the programs that put the most players in the NFL, there is a reason they do it...they are better players. How in the world do we have a team in Florida and they never seem to draft anyone from FSU, and only on rare occasions take players from UF and the U?

Looking at our starting Oline coming into the season... Albert-Virginia, Thomas- Tenessee, Pouncey- Florida, Douglas- ASU, James - Tenesse. Not really small school linemen at all. It doesn't matter what school we get them from, we aren't good at evaluating players.

I'd take Hargreaves over Ramsey. I read that some teams are starting to project Ramsey at safety rather than corner. Not sure if we'll suck enough to draft Hargreaves, but I'd love to see us get him if he's there.

Ramsey at FS/NB and RJ at SS would be a really outstanding safety duo

I prefer Ramsey at Free Safety in base defense, but his best position is nickel back.

Ramsey is Tyrann Mathiue without the baggage, and 6'1 210 pounds and an elite athlete. He won the ACC long jump championship and qualified for the 100 meter. He's also competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

I don't know how Jalen would get passed Baltimore and to us but it would be a dream to land him. He's probably going to be best in the pros at FS and he'll be a hell of a good one. Playmaking leader in the secondary is exactly what we need.

Ramsey and Jaylon Smith are the two players I'd be ecstatic about landing and would solve tremendous areas of need for us. It's unlikely we're going to be in that range though. Unfortunately. VGIII is more likely. If we do go secondary 1st, we probably will have a shot at a great LB prospect in the 2nd. If the valuation trend for ILBs is similiar to last year it's not impossible to believe Jack or Scooby could be there at our 2nd pick.

It was just a few short years ago that 90% of posters on here didnt want 'corn fed linemen.' My how the times have changed.

I didn't mean big boys as in corn fed linemen. I ment Big Boys as in coming from big and successful college programs.
