Is there really no thread in the main about this? It is on the front page, but I didnt see a thread... merge if neccissary.

Anyway... JAllen is going to see some playing time this weekend! :cpatch:

I have been excited about him since we drafted him. I cant wait to see what he can do. He is going to have a tough but interesting matchup this week vs. NE's TE's. What do you guys think about this matchup?

Go Fins! And go JAllen! :dolphins:
 
finally, Im really excited to see what this guy can do.
 
from the looks of the preseason, i shudder to think about seeing him play.
 
I would like to see him in coverage on Ben Watson the entire day.

Everybody can play zone if you want, but put Allen with his athleticism on Watson who I don't think we can stop otherwise.

That was 2 months ago. He should have developed alot since then...
 
One thing I liked about Allen was the fact that he wasnt afraid to try and deliever a hit when he was around the ball (it resulted in him getting smacked by a RB near the sideline once but you know what thats fine)

I love his intensity, and he has great work ethic.

I hope he does well not only for the team, but to shut up the 'Jason Allen is a bust after 4 games' crowd
 
We need a Safety who can get around the field and cover. If Allen gets his chance then its going to be a tough debut for the kid.
 
I just want to see him come in a play with some reckless abandon i don't even care if he makes some mistakes just show me speed and aggressiveness,hit somebody, come up and hit the runningback in the backfield,,,,, when is the last time we've seen that before by our safety's,,,,,exactly, never
 
Do you have a link? I haven't seen anything in the paper saying Jason Allen is starting this weekend, I hope so. Link please?

Thanks man, I live in WPB and don't get the Miami Herald. Appreciate the link.

Also very glad Jason is about to get some playing time, hope he does well and earns a spot as a starter very quick. We need his speed and athleticism in there.
 
I like it!

Much rather have Allen covering the TEs than ZT.
 
"playing time in the future". So maybe this game... maybe next game... or the game after.

Whatever though, it's about time! I think he's going to really help us.
