i was reading that he might be released..i read it on the website war room report....they were saying he is due 5 million by march 5th..im not sold on the guy and i think ronnie brown doesnt need a two headed monster at rb but im guessing cam wants proble a rb committee...im not sure williams is gonna be welcomed back and to be honest i hope they trade him for a 4th or 5th ...if that happens i like the idea of lewis coming here..getting 5-10 carries a game and would make for a more attractive goaline back then say morris...so what do u think

We have the best backfield in the league in terms of depth, running back is the least of our worries. I understand that your theory is based on the assumption that Ricky will not be here, but if we are to add a new runner, it would be a scat back. We already have 2 power backs so there is no need for another one.

Lewis is 27 years old with 7,801 career yards in 1,822 attempts for a grand total of 4.3 yards per carry.

What do I think? I think he's a monster. I also think he's going to be incredibly expensive and we lack the funds plus the need to make a legit play for him.

The salary cap needs to be stretched by restructures/cuts/trades and broken on the lesser evil(meaning cheaper) of Asante Samuels/Nate Clements and on Kris Dielman.

No thanks.
am i the only person to be irritated by seeing these comments so often everytime someone proposes an idea. i dont know what it is, just gets on my nerves its like wow dude let somebody have an idea.

It is a pretty rude way of slamming the door in someone who you don't agree with's face. I have to admit, I believe I've done it before. Maybe if we could just curb our hostility and say something along the lines of "I don't think I would like to see that" or "I wouldn't agree with that".

We defintely can't afford a luxury move like this. If Ricky is sent away and Morris and Minor go elsewhere, we need to draft a RB. Bryan Leonard would be 1st choice, then Lorenzo Booker later on. We need to pick up another pick or 2 or three or even 4. If we trade down from the ninth spot we could pick 1 up. If Ricky isn't with us we've probably traded him for a pick. Lots of other guys on the offense could be traded for picks. Trading Booker doesn't cost us any cap and as far as Chambers and McMichael, their salaries are way too high but I think the dead money on a trade would be too much.

Yet I've made a statistical based response while adding opinion and what is everyone discussing? The rude post.

It's the reality tv, Jerry Springer syndrome where as long as the content evokes a passionate response, hateful or otherwise, the action is more entertaining.

Eitherway and I'm not trying to offend anyone, the guy just said "no thanks." You guys are obsessing a bit.

I'm not so sure. If he said for example, Jamal Lewis brings nothing new to the table and in fact if we want to complement Ronnie who brings almost all facets to the game we need to find a RB who is very difficult and bring down like a Dominic Rhodes.

But Lewis is one of those guys. Sure he's only 5'11 but so is Ricky Williams and they both have that "I'll hit you before you hit me" mentality. Even Brown is a little of the same though not to the extent that Lewis or Williams are, they'll staright up punish you.

I'd much rather have a burner type runner to spell Brown.

It was a made up example but it's a fair argument:lol:

Lewis will want to have exclusive carries. And I don't think he'd fit well here. He's just good at running straight and Ronnie can do that too. I hope Ricky is able to be productive because he's far more elusive yet can still pound it(hopefully).

its a simple response for people who do not believe this is a logical scenario for the miami dolphins, for if something does not make any sense why debate,,,,i agree,,no thank you,,if you would like me to give you reasons why this does not make any sense for our team, let me know..now this would be a perfect time for you to say no thank you to me.
