It seems our old friend Jamar Fletcher is unhappy about losing his job as the nickel corner. Against Dallas, he didn't even play a single down. He is even rumored to be on the trading block. He had the following to say about his demotion:

"Me not playing on Sunday, that's crazy to me," he said yesterday. "That doesn't make sense."

Of course it makes sense you suck.....

That guy and wanny are forever linked in my mind. When Brees was on the board and we had fiedler and I believe Lucas and wanny picked fletcher I thought we are in deep sh@t with this coach. I didn't realize just how deep.

Yes, another one of Dave Wannstedt's wonderful additions to this team.

To think we could have had Chad Johnson (who begged Wanny to draft him) or Reggie Wayne to compliment Chambers makes me sick.

Fletcher........

Oh him. I almost forgot the terrible memories caused by him getting constantly roasted by our division rivals' WRs. How he held out of camp because he thought he was so special.........Here is a hint Jamar, you suck; and take whatever role Parcells gives you.

Aww hell! I forgot that Drew Brees was still on the board when we picked Fletcher! That's who I thought we were going to draft. A lot of the mock drafts had Indy taking Fletcher, so when we picked him I was like, "Huh? We have Sam Madison, Patrick Surtain, and Terry Cousin and we spent our #1 pick on a corner???". That was way back when I thought Wanny was doing a good job. That seems like a million years ago.

You mean before Wanny ever coached a single game. :D

Before you start throwing out hints, Fletcher doesn't play for Parcells........But your right, he does suck...........

Unfortunately, no. I gave Dave a chance in his first and second year. I had faith in Jimmy Johnson and though that maybe Wanny got a raw deal in Chicago. WRONG! After we went 11-5 in 2000, I thought that maybe he was a good fit for Miami. It wasn't until 2002 that I realized how awful a coach he was. :shakeno:

It's ok, lots of fans had the wool pulled over their eyes. Me included.

Amazing how one pathetic decision could have such impact. Brees was the obvious pick and he choked it for Jay Fiedler. OK enough I have to let it go. I have to believe it all lead to Nick Saban.

Fletcher was probably the worst choice Wanny ever made. Eddie Moore was pretty bad too but when he isn't hurt and actually plays he looks decent, which is far better than Fletcher has ever looked.
