Jamar Taylor and Will Davis ????

My assumptions:

Taylor is not 100% and he won't be for a long time.

Davis is about 165lbs and the coaches are scared he will get mauled defending the run.

Even in college it was clear he was a cover specialist and not a tackler.

Either one has to be better than Wilson who looked absolutely confused on the td to Gates.
Actually Jimmy Wilson is playing some of his best football since being drafted by Miami. He's not as fast as we would like but he gets what Coyle is wanting his DBs to do. I have been frustrated by Jimmy in the past but I genuinely think that he is getting better. It is also clear that Jimmy has the ability to really annoy the opposing team Offense. I don't know what he says, but they don't like him.

I don't want to be accused of being an Ireland supporter. He got to be gone after this season. I also don't want to be accused of supporting the coaches. They are slow to react on everything.

But, our CBs are not an issue in pass defense. It is our LBs, Reshad Jones, and our pass rush. We get no pocket push 95% of the time. When we do get sacks, they are coverage sacks and they are 5-7 second coverage sacks.

Furthermore, it seems to me that with the exception of Tannehill and Jon Martin, this coaching staff seem to prefer slowly developing players. We all thought Egnew would be cut this year. He's contributing.

I do think they are screwing the pooch with Dion Jordan. He's being underutilized. With Misi hurt, they had an opportunity to put him in a hybrid role and actually be a difference maker.

I have to agree! I feel like we have DB's with good instincts and try to play in Coyle's system, but across the board I'm just disappointed with the coaching, granted I'm not in the meeting rooms but I don't understand how wide open on multiple occasions Chargers receivers were?!?

i would love to see more of jamar taylor (not so much will davis), but it is clear that nolan carroll is our third CB. what we really need is a healthy second CB (patterson).

Jeff Ireland's 2013 Draft quite possibly could be the least productive draft by a team in NFL history. We would have been better off with no picks. Just when we think that Ireland couldn't be a bigger buffoon, he goes out and totally redeems himself. LMAO

What happened to them?
We invested a second and third round pick on them.
I haven't heard Taylor's name since the New Orleans game.
I haven't heard Davis since he shined in preseason.
Are they hurt?
They should be contributing by now.
they certainly can beat out Nolan Carroll.
Please update.

Considering that Grimes, Patterson and Carroll are all free agents, what's the rush ??

they were both put in in the New Orleans game and BOTH torched by Graham...they need some more book time than field time anyway
