Are those the two guys that were hurt in college(along with our first round pick)but we still drafted them? It's the coaches fault. It's never Irelan's fault.

I second this.. And I've hung out with Jimmy and if I tell you the things he says, we might have another scandal on our hands..

Grimes needs to be resigned, Patterson is good when he's healthy (10% of the time), and Carroll blows. Of course, this is what happens when you draft a bunch of injured players.
 
All this hate on our new corners. Please tell me how many of the 1st round corners aren't getting burned/benched this year? Dee Milliner? DJ Hayden? All should be on the bench.

Corner is the second hardest position in the league to transition too from college to the pros. According to people who know a hell of a lot more football than I do.

These guys are talented players that will see the field in due time. We have nice vets playing in their positions. No need to rush.

To be fair, everybody is torched by Graham. Good thing we passed on him for John Jelly and Koa Missing.
 
Rookie CBs rarely are ready for the NFL right away, especially in this pass crazy league. Let them learn under Grimes and occasionally healthy Patterson. I'm perfectly fine with them sitting as long as Grimes and Patterson are getting picks and Carroll isn't getting beat too much. They might just be a nice surprise in a year or two
 
Um, unfortunately not as much as we would have expected considering trading up to draft him 3rd overall. I guess you consider that a good pick at this point huh? There is a reason that we have not seen hide nor hair of Ireland, especially with bounty gate. I think it is a foregone conclusion that he is gone and I would be shocked if he is still involved in the day to day operations.
 
Davis is inconsistent and Taylor was dealing with his hernia all off season so he probably is no where near the shape he needs to be in to cover effectively.
Carroll and Wilson are doing well so far. CB is the least of our problem on defense.

I would be asking where Wheeler and Ellerbe are because after they got paid this off season they have yet to show up in the run D.

I dont think that is it at all.

I think Philbin has a philosophy of starters play until hurt and then next guy in.

How the hell can anyone know how someone is developing in practice on the outside? We cant. Just keep Reshad Jones in mind too.

Your going to see all these guys next year. bank on it. right now, we have good/great starters on D. The oline is only problem.
