I think Miami's main competition for wildcard spots are Baltimore and Cincinnati. Not concerned with the Jets. with Baltimore winning, really need to be Detroit to keep pace. Rather Cincinnati win the North so Miami can have a possible tiebreaker over Baltimore for a wildcard spot

Honestly I will not seriously think about making the playoffs until week 15 or so and then depending on injuries I'll make a prediction on making the playoffs.

If i was forced to make a prediction, As we sit here in week 8 I dont see us making the playoffs. We're way to injury prone and our defense isn't anywhere close to as good as expected.

AFC if wide open after Kansas City and Buffalo. You can argue Miami is the 3rd best team in the AFC. Just need the offense to pick up the slack because most of the injuries are on defense. And that defense that isn’t has good as expected is what’s carrying the team right now. Offense only won one game this season. Gotta think that will
Start balancing out here soon

As somebody who has torn both hip labrums I can tell you that this is something that could really derail his entire career if it doesn't get addressed properly Think of Albert Wilson - an extremely fast/explosive, house threat pre-injury - just a decently fast guy you could take or leave afterwards.

Honestly there's a ton of stuff that makes Chase the way he is that is just not going to go over well with a problematic hip - and labrums are one of those things that don't really heal.

As much as I hate the Jets, they are legit this year and we have to deal with them this year as well. Depending on our game with them at the end of the season, we can be either the 5th or 6th seed.

Jets don't have a passing game. They've done well otherwise.

They’ve just beaten the teams in front of them but hardly legit. They beat Cleveland who’s on their backup QB, Pittsburgh with a rookie QB, Miami on their 3rd string rookie QB, Denver on a back up QB and Green Bay with no weapons. Good job but nothing impressive as they lost to the 2 legit teams they played vs Baltimore and Cincinnati

As I've said when discussing the Flores 10 win seasons it only takes a marginal amount of effort to beat a lot of the bad teams in the league but it's a lot harder to bridge the gap from mediocre to good.

The Fins win total is 8-12 depending on injuries imho

Plus it took a miracle and complete meltdown by the Browns for them to win that game. The Jets aren’t as good as their record says they are. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Patriots bounce back and beat them on Sunday.

Way too early to worry about the playoffs for us. This next 4 game stretch is critical.

Agree with the Jets comments. On their 4 game winning streak, they have one passing TD from Wilson and I believe he averages less than 200 yards a game. Their running game took a huge blow last week due to injury and they have some very tough games coming up here shortly. They will come back to earth. I do think that they are improving as a team, but the QB position for them is still a problem
