Jameis Winston Entering draft

Tampa would set themselves back 10 years if they pass him up for Mariota
 
he'll be a buc...done and done

the question is who is gonna change their system to fit mariotas style in the top 5 or trade up for him...once he runs low 4.5's the read option and pistol teams will be falling all over themselves in pursuit

anyone who drafts mariota though to play in a traditional pocket and step drop and progression offense is in for a serious FAIL...

They would but it would also be the first time Lovie Smith ever drafts a QB I think. Don't think he's ever started a rookie before. Lovie's in control and my gut says he passes on the QB and goes defense...for his sake he better take Winston.

wow...lovie still as stupid as when he stuck with rex grossman and had a championship caliber team minus the qb...got to love lovie

That's just my gut going off of Lovie's history. Hopefully the faux GM they have in place talks some sense into Lovie and convinces him to take Winston. If not then they'll just keep signing those 2nd and 3rd tier QBs like Josh McCown and hope for the best or trade for some head case like Jay Cutler like back in his Chicago days. I mean we're talking about a guy that had Chad Hutchinson as his starting QB his rookie year as a head coach...the same Hutchinson that was drafted by Dallas and was a complete failure...then he went to Orton, Griese, Grossman and back to Orton before trading for Cutler. It's a sad history for Lovie.
 
This marks the first time that Winston has legally entered anything.
 
I can deal with players who have made mistakes, but the whole rape thing is a no for me.

Don't care if he was found innocent either, to many unanswered questions there. But he is the best qb in this draft.

Has no clue what he is doing. Could eventually develop into a quality pass rusher in 3 years or be Aaron Maybin. I want no part of that in the top 10.
