So usually someone makes a thread just as soon as a player hits the respective market. And usually the player is terrible and/or a bad fit. James Jones is a big time playmaker who struggles with drops occasionally but would make a great #2 for us. Marshall and Jones with Bess in the slot. GB opted not to act on him and thus he will hit free agency. We will only have to come up with a monetary compensation because he will be a UFA.

Not down with this dude...I saw him drop enough passes form a top 5 QB who put it on the money in the Superbowl..i dont need to see it again in a Phins uniform.

True. Would much rather watch Hartline drop the same balls with less down field ability

I think James Jones could blossom into a star. He has to overcome his drops, but man he sure does have the complete package for a receiver. He is big, physical, and fast.

I'm still cool with Santana Moss to be honest with you. Wouldn't mind a Marshall/Moss/Bess/Hartline/Wallace rotation at WR.

Gonna have to disagree....Hatrline doesnt drop the ball very often..

One reason you might not think Hartline drops as many is because he is always losing his footing and falling down before the ball gets there. He hung Henne out to dry more than a few times. I don't know what this FO were thinking when they wasted a 3rd and 4th on him and Turner. What a waste of potential with those picks. I have no idea why they traded Camarillo and kept Hartline. Hartline is no #2 and will never be good enough to be and Camarillo has much better hands! With Bess in the slot what is the use for Hartline? #4 or #5?

ANTI MSW.
The guy only shows up for half the games every season. its either big game or 0 catches.

James jones is an interesting prospect. He has elite physical ability and has been held down by Jennings and Driver his entire career. He is most certainly an upgrade at our #2 receiver spot if he comes at the right price.

No! Highly paid WR's are actually supposed to catch footballs.
