Ok, i know this kid is on the practice squad, but I would really love to see this guy play. He's 6'3" 200lbs, and he's fast. I'm talking about as fast as ginn fast. and he can't be any worse at catching or route running. He can stretch the field.

So you want to play this guy off the PS, and you have Turner, who can't even be activated???

Ginn is a perfect example, that speed is not everything to playing WR.

He is not as fast as Ginn..
That being said there is a good chance he is 4-5 inches taller 10 more pounds and way QUICKER.

well, i think we are looking for someone who can stretch the field. turner can't. he's more of a goal line threat or a jump ball threat.

and i beg the differ...

ginn ran his 4.28 in front of the tOSU coaching staff as a freshman 5 years ago.

robinson ran his 4.28 in front of NFL scouts about 6 months ago...

Considering our situation at WR, I wonder why he hasn't been at least activated yet.
that's what i'm wondering. could be a number of things. he could be doing good, but no one on the team is doing bad enough to be replaced?

I know, i know, ginn is horrible, but for some reason the FO doesn't think it's bad enough...yet.

I don't think we know what this coaching staff is looking for...
That said, remember Orande G. Good hands, slow. That's more where I see Turner. He's not just going to be a jump ball guy, I'm sure they want a big guy that can catch and break tackles. Turner looks like he can use a few pounds of muscle!

Thats a 40.
Let these guys race over 50 yards and its a wrap..
Matter of fact let Ginn race just about anyone in the NFL and its a wrap..
I am not saying Ginn is better than anyone or anything of that sort but pure speed he is insane..
He picks up speed until about 40-50 yards most guys top out around 30

It's a shame he's struggling and not progressed well. Even on KR/PR's. I know blocking has been weak on ST's, they need to work on that!

well obviously robinson isn't most guys, as his 40time is the same as ginn's. actually, ginn ran a 4.32 at the combine. there's no telling who would win in a foot race past 40yds, but i'm telling you, for a 6'3" 200lbs guy, he's fast.

Don't forget Ginn ran that time while "still" recovering from hurting his "ankle" during the championship game! (he ran that on "one" good ankle!)

Ginn has "true" sub 4.3 speed, why do i say that

Supposedly based on the "40" Ronnie brown has 4.3 speed  Now how many times has ronnie brown been caught from behind? by LB ( panthers game..Dan Morgan! safeties, CB!), two possibilities

1) everyone that caught him from behind pretty much runs sub 4.3 to catch a 4.3 guy from behind

2) ronnie brown runs closer to 4.5 range.. and the argument that he's faster than RW please!

Ginn well! i actually get goosebumps, when he gets moving, because you realize, there's no jokes to his speed!

I would bet the house on Ginn in that race!

Further, with this guy physical attributes, you would thing you'd hear about how is absolutely dominating the "3rd" string DB, but you hear nothing? no bombs, no catching it making a few miss, and gone with that elite speed! nothing, nothing!

I dont even see why the media in the pressers dont ask sparano to give an update on turner

yeah we really need to make some moves at our wr position, even if it is giving more reps to other wr and take it away from no hands ginn, or bring someone from the ps

ginn is not as fast as he was in college you can clearly see that
