How physical are Dolphins practices? Matt Moore broke his nose during the week and has a black eye -- and he's the backup quarterback. In the locker room after Sunday's game, I asked Moore what happened.


"I got an elbow to the face this week," he said with a proud smile.

I was curious when I saw him on the injury report w "nose". I don't recall ever seeing that body part listed on such a report. Elbow to the face - I'm sure it was accidental. He got thrown a bone for his troubles. Got to chuck one in the game.

Seriously, I was concerned that there was a locker room altercation when I first saw the thread title. So I am relieved that it was an accident that occurred during practice.
