A lot of negativity today, and we certainly have things to work on. But I think this kid Douglass deserves a thread. He was downfield blocking and smashing guys all day. Decent pass protection. I think he played great and can only get better from here.
 
Yep, kid is the real deal - smart, strong, not soft. Thank goodness he solidified one G spot.
 
After what I saw from Dallas Thomas I would start Douglas at LG and roll with Turner at RG...I got tired of seeing Thomas' head getting knocked back like a bozo punching bag.

Not to mention how much better Douglas would be at LG then RG
 
I like Douglas. He played well today. On the other hand...... It's time to end the Dallas Thomas experiment
 
Thomas stinks. Unfortunately Turner is just as bad, maybe worse.
 
Protection was fine but except for like two plays the run blocking was atrocious from everyone.
 
Shoulda drafted Collins. At the end of the day, who cares if a murderer is on the team? As long as Tannehill doesn't get murdered.
 
Dallas Thomas will play this year, but he is not the long term answer. WE need another draft to get some quality lineman.

Except, if he was actually a murderer, which is what EVERY team was gambling on based on the information available, it would have been a wasted pick.
