For everyone who was loving Pettigrew the guy has stunk it up. Jared Cook on the other hand is a monster. The guy has lead in all statistics and just a 4.5, WoW!

I'll take the fella who has better game tape than someone who can wow in shorts and a t-shirt. Pettigrew is the best TE in this class.

Well you obviously didn't watch a single South Carolina game all year. This guy can ball. Corners have trouble covering him! The only thing Cook can't do well is block, but if you put him in an NFL camp with an NFL weight room regimen he can learn to block. He also has a good demeanor and works his *** off.

The guy catches with his hands (not the body) and adjusts well to the ball in the air. Doesn't quit on plays. I have him going in the 4th...but his combine performance may move him up. I wouldn't be disappointed seeing him as a Phin...

He's not better than Brandon Pettigrew, I'm sorry. If you can't block, it's going to take some time to adjust in the NFL. It's why a guy like Kyle Brady has lasted for all these years and a guy like Teyo Johnson isn't in the league any more.

Like I said in another thread. The Dolphins should draft him in the 2nd round and use him as a WR.

I'm actually disappointed with his 40 time. On a better day I think he is capable of running in the 4.4's.

I really don't know what more we could ask for.

We don't need a TE. Fasano, Martin, and the new guy...forget his name...from Maryland. The rookie will be a good find I think because he has the "potential" thing and of course is big and fast. The TE's we have, especially Fasano and Martin, can block and catch...with Fasano being young we should have him for a few years at least.

Well I will make sure to bump this thread to make fun of you in two years so you know how wrong you are.

Wasn't Teyo on our practice squad for awhile? I remember he was an colossal bust with Oakland.

I am totally on the "draft Jared Cook to play WR" bandwagon now.

I don't know. I only saw about 3 OSU games this year, but he showed me NOTHING in the games I saw. He was invisible...in fact in my notes on him I jokingly put, "Do they have a TE?" He may be great...but not from what I have seen. And someone that good, should have shown something in 3 games...
