Has anyone seen this guy play?
Even though it's only his second year this guy is a freak
if that 36inch vert is true...

No, I didn't say draft this guy above Thomas or Johnson

Thanks for your opinion,
MiamiRon

i dunno who he is but good god

He's the #2 rated olineman behind Thomas, but apparently he's a bit of a goon. He'll go in the first if he declares.

He runs a 4.2 also right? that would be iceing in the cake.

Anyway who does he play for? I wanna check him out.

Maryland

Latest MD physical freak ala Shawne Merriman and Vernon Davis.

Although he is a bit of a thug and comes with some personality issues.

I have seen him. He is an extremely rare talent. If he comes out, which I think is possible yet unlikely given that he is a redshirt sophomore, he has a legitimate shot to go top five.

Guys with this type of all world talent are extremely rare. Extremely. He passes the eyeball test and shows unbelievable footwork and athleticism for a guy his size.

If we continue down this path, I will hope that he makes the jump, because he would dominate on the left for many, many years.

that size we should draft him and put him as our WR! 350 lbs 6'9 and a 36inch vert!! just throw the ball to him and it would be easy yards

The stats say he has yet to give up a sack.

He's a draft-eligible sophomore having played at Hargrave Military Academy. He played LT as a true freshman and didn't allow a sack in 583 plays, including vs. Mario Williams and Manny Lawson. I've seen Maryland play once this year and he's at RT due to Stehpon Heyer being back on the left side from injury.

I'd be really interested if Gaither declares, as he'd be only 21 coming into the league, but I don't have any idea if he would, I'm guessing he might stay, but Boomer or KB21 might know.

I see him every week with MD games on the tube. He plays RT right now and yes is only a soph. Huge body, but raw skills and technique right now.

Some do have him ranked as #2 Tackle if he declares but often its only size related and not polish, most would actually have him as #3 based on NFL readyness.

Joe Thomas #1 (Sr @ Wisconsin)
Sam Baker #2 (Jr @ USC)

Whats his play style and who would he be compared to in the NFL today?

He is a big boy, no doubt. He has a solid first punch. MD loves to have him pull to both sides on running plays and its easy to spot his potential and athleticism. His pass protection skills can improve with his inside step, etc but his level of competition is so far beneath him on the DLine side that he gets away with it.

I do like the kid, but again I wouldnt say other than his size that he will be as ready to go as the other two listed.

I havent seen him play on the left side yet so hard to compare. But size wise and talent and experience, for now I would say he would be in the style of Marcus McNeill with SD.

Off field issues....equal to so many others currently in the NFL its hard to list them all. :)

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME WITH THE INFO ON THIS GUY!!

Can you imagine getting Thomas this year and this kid next
NOW that would be a nice start...and just for good measure sign Starks
for one of our guard positions...ONE CAN DREAM??????

You guys amaze me with all your knowledge!!!

Thanks,

MiamiRon
