jarrett to run 4.7 40?

He'd be a dream come true in round 2!

a 4.7?? It's a shame that that rumor has started because it's going to hurt him... But a "fast Track" isn't going to cause him to run two seconds faster. It just doesn't make much sense for him to run so slow.
 
He probably won't run that slow. The people in Arizona who were prepping him for his workouts would have gotten his timing down. If it was to be that slow however I don't think that it's the end of the world. Boldin ran around that area, got drafted in the 2nd and is now a premier receiver in the league.
 
How can Indy have worse than USC ?? It's indoors and considered a 'fast track' by scouts ?? I don't get that part of the article....at any rate, a 4.7 or slower will certainly drop his stock...I thought that Meacham looked best of the receivers. He was the most fluid of all of them...near the top in all the categories....

That rumor is going to hurt him???

How about that fact that he is that slow will hurt him when he runs at his pro day.

Worst part about it is that he was telling scouts at the combine he'd run a 4.45. He's gonna look like a fool.
 
well, actually, he didnt run at all. He claimed that he has an aching hammy. so with dwayne bowe only running a 4.53...if Jarrett is able to run a 4.5 as well...look for Jarrett to jump back into the 3rd best WR in the draft.

Right now it looks like Johnson and Ginn as your top two...with a toss up between Meachem, Jarrett, and Bowe. Meachem ran a 4.3 I believe.

I disagree, Right now the 2nd WR slot belongs to Meachem IMO. He more of a total package WR than Ginn. Jarrett could end up being on the outside of the 1st round looking in.
