Jarvis Landry has 29.7% of Miami's Receptions in 2016, which is the highest percentage in the NFL. As long as Tannehill settles for the easy throw we will remain a bottom ranked offense. Its stuff like this that makes you wonder why Gase is so adamant about running the offense through Ajayi and limiting pass attempts.

3rd and 7 and throwing the ball behind the line of scrimmage or for a couple yards is getting old. But hey a completed pass is a good stat even tho the play was a failure to compete.

Which was a big reason we were one of the worst teams in NFL in converting 3rd downs.

I'm hoping Julius Thomas can stay healthy and provide a seam threat for Tannehill to look at. He's good at going through his progressions but forgets about the tight end a lot. In his defense he's never really had a good tight end...hopefully this is the missing piece our offense needs in 2017

I personally would like to see more throws outside the numbers.

Settles for "easy" throws? Yikes!

Yet he's amongst the league leaders in some of the more difficult and non-conservative throws in the league. How does your logic stack up?

Dude, can you stop with this. This is like the 3rd thread you've made with basically the exact same argument of Tannehill needs step up and the offense isn't great. And he isn't adamant about going through Ajayi when he has said he wants Tannehill to sling it more. Tannehill spent his first 4 games learning a new O then excelled the next 9 only to get hurt. So really he has half a season of having a grasp of Gase's offense. Give it ****in time.

Yeah it's rather ridiculous. This argument would've been better suited when we were running lazor's bs offense

And lol @ "not pushing an agenda"

YOU PUT SMH IN THE TITLE DUDE! (And OMG in the other) Of course you are trying to get everyone to think like you - with these misinterpreted stats.

Can you post this full list, so we can compare other players?

Wasn't Tannehill a top 5 deep thrower last year?

Tannehill had his best season last year (93.5 rating)

Tannehill isn't the reason we didn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

Please season hurry up!!

PHINS UP!!

Lol! How many of those receptions are screens? And who is responsible for such a large amount of screens being called? And why would that person call so many screens?

None of the anwsers for the questions above involve the QB...

1. Landry
2. Stills
3. Parker
4. Tight End
5. Running back

For a completely even distribution, each would receive 20%. When you factor in Landry plays the most snaps of any of them, 29% doesn't seem so outrageous
29% Leads the league so it is outrageous because Landry doesn't play more snaps than other elite receivers.
