Congrats, Juice!! Jarvis Landry is the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week!! #StrongerTogether

Following his 69-yard punt return for a TD on Sunday, #Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Dude should be straight up player of the week, reminds me of a combo of Steve Smith and Hines Ward. The consistency and reliability of Ward but the fiery competitor big play ability of Smith

Landry becomes the 1st #Dolphins player to be named Special Teams Player of the Week for a Week 1 game@GregLikens

Excellent! Funny thing, If LeMike hadn't fumble the ball on KR i don't think we see Juice on PR. Likely LeMike had the job full time and Juice would only come in due to an injury or relief.

There were a lot of posters that didn't want him to play special teams this year. He is our best skilled player. Get him the ball however we can.

Coach Philbin deserves some credit as well. He was quoted as saying he would put Landry in for punt or kick returns depending on certain game situations and inserting Landry here on this return certainly seemed to be a great coaching decision by not only provided a spark but ultimately the go-ahead score to win the game.

Next jersey for sure!

this is a really good comparison. All these guys punched / punch bigger than their weight class.

This was a great situational return, but put me on record definitely for saying that Juice should not be back there returning punts or kicks for the bulk of the time. He's way too important to the offense.

Get a real KR/PR on the team. Hopefully Mostert is it.

I agree with you there but i don't think they take him off of punts. You need sure hands for punts
