I wasn't aware we had WR issues...
Its always my time of the month
I, i wouldnt be surprised if Marqise Lee(another coveted prospect who i would have loved for us to draft at 19) enters the conversation either. Hes quietly playing well in Jacksonville
I would ask were you dug up the drivil on Lee being great at Jag's camp but the BSPN blog is self-explanatory.
I've been up in the Jax, FL area quite a bit lately and this is all I'm hearing about from.. well just about everyone including HC Bradley. Also being the "best WR" in Jacksonville right now is nothing to write home about.

Another quick note. NCAA drop rate: Lee - 12.3%. Landry - 2.5%
Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley clarified his comments about rookie receiver Marqise Lee's effort, saying the second-round pick’s effort was fine and he only failed to run hard on one route during the Jaguars’ 16-10 victory over Tampa Bay last Friday night.
Lee was confused about what he was supposed to do on a come-back route and hesitated. Bradley said Lee’s effort was fine when he was on the field.
"A couple of things that came up where he just was unsure of positioning of the defense and how he should attack the route, so it’s just a little bit of confusion on his part that we got cleared up," Bradley said following Monday’s practice. "Like I said, he is extremely focused, really, really competitive, really driven and I thought today he came out and he used those things and he learned from it and he got better. He was great."
..."I got specific," Bradley said. "That was on me. I got specific on one play where he was supposed to run a comeback. And he ran it. It was never an effort [issue], but he was more confused on how the defender was playing him so he just didn’t run it full speed because of that. But he’s got to learn from that, learn to run full speed and take it."

A rookie got confused on a single play?!?! Cut him and fire the staff who drafted him! We all know the only position in football that is allowed to struggle is right tackle.
And totally forgot to include: Media is always wrong except when they are saying something good about the Dolphins. My bad.
Finally, for those who are unaware: there is more to playing the receiver position than catching the football. After watching Wallace drop easy catches and give up on plays last year, i can see where the confusion came from though.
vegas has odds on OROTY:
Sammy Watkins 6-1
Johnny Manziel 9-1
Mike Evans 9-1
*Any other player 9-1*
Brandon Cooks 10-1
Teddy Bridgewater 11-1
Odell Beckham Jr. 11-1
Bishop Sankey 13-1
Eric Ebron 13-1
Jace Amaro 13-1
Kelvin Benjamin 13-1
Marquise Lee 13-1
Allen Robinson 17-1
Cody Lattimer 17-1
Jordan Mathews 17-1
So Vegas doesn't think enough of Landry to put odds on him. I might take them up on the "any other player" bet though.
Touche'. I've been served. Just caught the local Jax radio over this past weekend.
In my 2nd effort, I still don't see Lee having a ROTY type of season along side Allen Hurns and Mike Brown with Henne at the helm. Just can't see them consistently moving the chains and defenses don't need to overplay Gerhart, either.
...So yeah, i fully expect Cooks(provided he stays healthy) to win the award. He will get the throws and sure as hell has the ability. Hes a special player, which is why some of us wanted Miami to draft him.
And while i dont expect him to win the award(based on their quarterback situation), i wouldnt be surprised if Marqise Lee(another coveted prospect who i would have loved for us to draft at 19) enters the conversation either. Hes quietly playing well in Jacksonville:
If everybody stays healthy I could see Hartline, Wallace, Gibson and Matthews getting more targets than Landry this season. I think someone like Sammy Watkins will have twice as many passes thrown his way and will get a lot more media attention.
