We don't talk a lot about Landry because the box is checked, we know he's going to be good, even great, and we just need to wait for it to unfold. But there will be articles about him, like this one from the PB Post.

DAVIE —

"A man’s cover is about to be blown, but no matter. No one will mind, least of all the subject himself. Not now. Not for a misdemeanor that has no victims but might someday have a hero.

Flash back a summer ago. To the football training facility at LSU. Middle of the night. Up walks our subject, who knows every lock that isn’t locked when no one’s around. He lets himself in, usually. If by chance everything is secured, he forces his way in. Jarvis Landry is that man......."

(Also take note of what he was doing in Vegas over the summer...it IS possible to work your craft, instead of getting hammered.)

Landry also has a twitter feed and an Instagram account.

how has he been in ota and tc?

Catching everything thrown his way.. Great routes.. Tough as nails.. Can't wait to see him live and in person on game day.. Really believe that if his game completely translates to the NFL then at the end of the year he will be in the running for Offensive Rookie of The Year( If he doesn't win the damn thing.. Which would be awesome!!!!!!) I bet when they do the classic redraft that they always do to show where people should have been take in the first round.. Landry's goes top 15.. Wishful thinking and homer-ism at its best but.. I love my Fins and Believe in Landry ;)

I guess I'm getting old but my eyes just watered up a bit reading that article. You can't teach that kind of dedication, you just have to want it. I wish my 15 year had this same internal fire.

I'm 44 but I am going to kill the weight room this morning. Certain reads get me amped. Great way to start the day.

Jarvis is going be scary nasty.

I really wanted cooks but Landry sounds pretty good. Hopefully he can have an impact his rookie year

This offense is going to be fun to watch this season. All I am hoping for is mediocre line play and we should be fine.

Agreed, and I don't think that's too much to ask either, considering how fast they'll be unloading the ball.

Absolutely love this kid. One of my team favorites since draft day.

Great read. I feel like some people are maybe going to be disappointed with the expectations though. He did get past our defense in practice for a deep one, but I think it's more fair to expect him to be a reliable underneath guy most of the time. I'll take O.J. McDuffie 2.0 any day though. Maybe Gadsden for comparison's sake? I think he will be a leader and with all of the work he puts in with already great hands and route running, how could he not be that clutch guy is at his best on 3rd or 4th down with the game on the line?

Right. We can't expect him going deep all the time, but with his athleticism and discipline, he should kill the slot.
