We brought this guy in as a free agent to play RT. The initial word was that he was the starting tackle fo the Lions before he got injured. He was good at the U of M. If he is healthy ad sitting on our 53 why is his name not even coming up? Did his agent, Drew Rosenhouse, sell us a bill of goods? Unless he's hurt I would think he'd be next man up.

I think they should put him at LT and let everyone else keep thier normal positions. We now have 3 backups in rather than 1. Nobody has a great feel for what they are doing. If you put in one player you can then help him all game with an extra TE, but how can you help 3 players playing out of position? This makes no sense to me. You are putting players in position to fail. Does anyone think Dallas Thomas can block Mario Williams one on one when he is playing OT instead of OG?? This is a bad idea all around. With Albert going down we have now lost 3 starters instead of one.

Don't remember seeing him at RT in preseason...or maybe he did play RT and didn't do very well. I thought he was better at LT myself...but he's not better than James at LT.

Does make you ponder.

Would we be better off keeping everyone as-is and just slotting in Turner at LT?

Or play musical chairs every other week until something works.

Thats the one roster move at the cut down I didn't really understand. Why is Jason Fox still on our roster (break in case of emergency?) To me it was either Garner or Fox making the team not both. Fox is way to injury prone to rely on.

The truth is he is not very good and gets injured putting on his cleats

I'm not as down on Fox as most seem to be, however I never really understand why teams keep veterans on their roster if they believe they're not only non-starter material but also not good enough to play if a starter gets hurt. If a veteran can't start and is not good enough to back up, shouldn't that spot go to a cheaper younger player who at least has the chance to improve.
