To play corner you have to be a little ****y/confident. Not too ****y, but at the same time you have to have confidence. You have to go out there with a short memory to play defensive back. So whether it be a good play, or you get beat on a play, you have to have a short-term memory. You have to go out there and tell the wide receiver, "I am going to beat you this play, I'm not going to let you get off the line of scrimmage and it is going to be a long day and a physical one." And I think the wide receiver and corner positions are positions where they will be a lot of trash talking so you have to set the tempo early. From the first play of the game, you let the receiver know it will be physical and it's going to be a long day for him.
