Drafting 2 corners and picking up Green makes it unlikely Jason stays with the team. How far do you think we can move up in the third round if we package Allen or Beek with our third round pick? There are a few players such as Michael Johnson and Jared Cook I would like to get chance to draft.

I am not sure we could use them as trade bait to move up in the 3rd round. I think there is an 85% chance John Beck is moved in a trade tomorrow. I think he will fetch us a late 6th round pick.

Jason Allen will likely go to training camp, but will have a hard time making the team as a cornerback. Best bet for him would be a switch back to safety.

I'm not sure about Beck, but I doubt Allen is going anywhere. CBs don't typically start their rookie season as it is one of the toughest positions to learn. I still think Jason Allen will end up starting this season, but I seriously doubt Will Allen will be back next season.

i think allen will still be on the team he will just be fighting for the 4th CB spot with eric green

From Ireland's deceptive mouth: White to play at Qb and no vision for him as a #1 or #2 Wide Receiver.

Damn, Henne and White. Beck's a gooner.

Beck may fetch a 6th or 7th. Allen will have to move back to Saftery or be gone.

IMO, i there is no future vision with Allen and Beck.. at the very minimum, White is a emergency QB, taking Becks spot... Beck is definately a goner.. thats almost a certainty

Jason Allen will stay I believe. Will Allen is as good as gone next year imo. Eric Green will need to beat out J.A. Vontae is unproven, but I do think he is the CB of the future for us. I'm stoked that we were able to draft him. Smith is unproven, and will be moving to Safety before Allen does, imo.

Beck is as good as gone. With the Pat White pick, no need for Beck, so good riddance.

I think Allen stays as like a 4th/5th corner, or even a safety, but Beck's time is likely up after taking White today.

yeah i am a beck suporter but after listening to irelands press conference, Beck will be traded. you could just tell by the tone of Irelands voice when that reporter said is Beck on the trading block. and when he said we have 3 oh 4 qbs that was the writing on the wall for beck. he will be gone tomorrow. Good luck Beck where ever you end up.

Neither has trade value and therefore will not be traded. Neither ones services are needed any longer by the franchise. Both will most likely be cut. Allen has a slim shot at staying on the roster as the last guy in the secondary if he plays well on special teams.
