Any word on whether Ben Watson is gonna be all right?

I was at the game, so all I saw was that he had to stop playing because #32 jacked him up. I didn't get to hear any commentary.

210 v. 255 !!!

I guess Saban saw Allen make some good tackles in college and thought he'd be a good fit on our team. Allen did have 123 of those little stops in 2004; his Jr. year. In only what, 12 games?

So I hope Ben Watson's all right. And I hope receivers of all heights and weights saw that hit.

well saban obviously wants a physical player in the secondary. How shocking that Jason Allen is just that.

even worse was that Ben dropped the ball..and then got jacked up...

Allen was a bit slow getting up. Allen sould have REALLY jacked him up if he would have hit him high. He could have crushed him. Kenoy Kennedy or Ronnie Lott would have bejeaded Watson. Good play though nonetheless.

How often to 260 pound TE's get upended like that by DB's ??? Watson's no WR. Hitting him high woudlnt have the same effect it probably would have been much easier to hold the ball had he been right side up with his feet on the ground. Perfect positioning and hit by Jason IMO. Nobody's goin for style points they gotta make the plays.

AGREE...Jason hit him just where he should have...It was a real good hit by our rookie...Hopefully this will lead to Jason turning the corner and becomming the
player we would like to see.

Wait until the final injury report of next week, because I wouldn’t be surprised to see an Out/Doubtful status on Jason Allen. If not, then his past injuries are not a concern at all.

He got back in it and played on the very next play (Allen that is), at the worst he might see limited duty in a practice or two.
