Please post the similarities you've seen on both of them...

Starting for:

*They both were the 16th pick overall.
*People claim that they both are on every play...

people said that 16 was to high for Polamalu

U must be a mind reader!!!! ive mentioned Troy 3 times already in previous posts

Polamalu is a team leader, he plays hard and tackles hard from the S position.

I have mentioned him as well

I haven't seen too much of him so i don't really have an opinion on this guy. Nick Saban seems to be real close with him so i think he would know what type of ability he would have. I still wanted Manny Lawson but i guess Allen was a better fit.

Let's not get carried away here, but the more I read about Allen and listen to Saban talk about him, the more I like the pick. Lawson would have been major REACH.

We have a Safety who can cover and hit and going by what ive read he can cover over the middle and dominate. Mr Brady will be having kittens.

And like Allen, there were injury concerns regarding Polamalau. With Troy, it was the series of concussions he'd suffered in high school and college relative to his style of play.

i only hope that Allen is comparable to other mid first rd. safeties.

imagine how sick we'll be with an ed reed/polamalu back there.

If Allen is an Ed Reed/Polamalu, Saban is a god we should never question EVER again.

Right now, for what he has done in the last draft, drafting Brown & Crowder, moreover acquiring Culpepper, Shelton and more guys and finally leading us to a 6 streak win ending season last year as his first season in the Fins + acquiring new highly rated coaching staff we should not question him ever again!!!, great progress for us through our coach... (and I'm getting too short for what he is done in a single season!!!)

IM A SABAN SUPPORTER!!!!!

first of all trus in saban, that being said if this kid is any thing like Troy Polamau we will have a monster of a defence again!!!

Comparing Polamalu and Allen??!! Oh please!!! Allen is nowhere near as tough or physical as Polamalu is. Allen is soft and injury prone.
