jason will be special...he has only been in a camp for a few days and i was just watching how he bounces around in the secondary vs the jags and he just has that look like troy from the steelers!! he is looking to make a play with his instincts!!!! guys even on the long pass td to matt jones he came from out of the blue to almost get matt at the end zone!! he is quick....fast....instinctive and young!!!!! he will make our secondary awesome for years to come!!! he has only been in "training camp" for a little bit and he will learn this "D" and become better and playing without having to think about it!!!!!:dolphins:

I agree. He is a rookie this season. He will only get better each game.

I thought he looked lost most of the time against the Jags.

He looked lost, confused, and his "instincts" proved him wrong. Nor, in my opinion, did he look anything like Troy, but he's very athletic and showed awesome range, I hope he can get his act together. And YES, I am aware he's had 6 total practices at the NFL level so I'm not worried.

But on that long Matt Jones TD pass, J. Allen was suppose to be giving deep help to W. Allen, but he wen't to cover R. Williams on a 12-yard square in.

He was caught out of position many times, but AGAIN. I'm not calling him a bust, nor am I saying he will never be great. I'm simply saying, his inexperience showed.

how do you know he was suppose to give deep help? did you call the coverage? because if you look at the play as soon as he made the tackle at the goal line there was the man jason was covering right there!! and he came from out of the blue!!

Common sense dictate's that if one safety plays up in the box, and the other safety rotate's back and play's 25 yards off the LOS, and both corner's are playing man, the safety playing really deep is playing a deep zone. Jason bit towards R. William's because Byron looked that way. Allen knew he blew it because he immediately turned around and tried to chase down Matt. He showed great range, but he was no where near the pass. And afterwards, Jason looked at Will and tapped his chest, as if to say "My bad."

Being at the game and exclusively watching Allen after our starter's exited, I saw witness to Allen blowing a few coverage's. But I also saw witness to Allen's amazing range and physical ability. He has some the best range I've seen in the NFL. He cover's ALOT of ground.

All I'm saying is that he looked inexperienced, and needs work. Obviously, he hasn't exactly had much practice.

Agreed. He definetly has the physical tools to be special. Those at the game can say they saw the amazing range of J. Allen.

so do you think we will see him blitzing a lot this year?

I dont think so. I think we will take advantage of his coverage ability and use him most in that respect, while blitzing our other Safeties who arnt as good in coverage like Hill.

he will be an impact player and D# rookie of the year! Allen is our secondaey saviour.
