Jason Allen is working primarily as a cornerback, not safety. Let's just accept it for now and stop whining, and Brandon London has taken Derek Hagan's spot on the active roster because of his special teams contributions.

So its Official boys and girls Jason Allen is no longer a Safety for the Miami Dolphins. Hopefully he starts to open some eyes and can unseat Andre Goodman. Incredible how a guy drafted in the first has gone from FS to CB about a dozen times now and nobody can find a spot for him.

Also Derek Hagan appears to have hit the bottom of the Depth Chart, shows you these coaches are serious about if your not performing your not playing.

Wow I tink its almost official that we wasted a draft pick on Allen.

What do you think does that mean, do the coaches give up on him as a safety (because we are set at both starting spots) or do they see him emerging as our future (maybe potentional #2) corner? I hope he can emerge as a corner for us and finally see some playing time there! He was a playmaker is college and could be a playmaker for us too, we need some more playmakers in our secondary!

Good God, safety - corner - safety - corner.

Personally, I thought he was doing alright at safety (better than Crocker) and making some plays (i.e. - last year, preseason).

I don't know how anyone could pan out when they get their position switched 4 times in 3 years.

I hope he pans out at corner, but I think his style of play is much more suited to safety. His skills are that he is a big hitter, a ball hawk who gets some picks, and great in run support. Those don't translate well to corner.

As far as London over Hagan, great. I haven't seen London play, but I've heard great things. Hagan is a not factor.

2 more in the list of Saban's "great" draft picks.

I dont Know if Hagan is so bad he is our fifth receiver why would we not cut him. Our receivers are mediocre at best and he is the worst of them geesh.

I would like him to emerge as something. Our corner's beyond Will Allen are less than stellar, if he does not emerge here than he needs a new locale.

and Hagan...

So Hagan has successfully moved from #2 in Pre-season to #5... Bang up job Hagan.

the worst thing is we have not improved at all at receiver from the end of last year. hagan and Wilford are invisible, London is an unknown and we have two borderline NFL starters that would probably struggle to start anywhere else.

Camarillo's prolly the only one of our WR who has suprised. Bess was a pleasant get but you're absolutly right, our WR corps is pathetic. The trifecta could only do so much with 1 offseason and draft.

Obvioulsy we our building from the inside out. This next offseason they will finish up the front 7 and line if they see fit. I'd be shocked if they didn't go get a WR and a DB or two.

Hopefully Jason Allen will eventually unseat Andre Goodman. Goodman has been beaten so many times, and it's still early in the season. Hagan is just disappointing. Time to cut bait and move on.
