how did he do today? i've only seen one post about him,and from what i read,he did great...can anybody else tell me how he did?

I missed the 1st quarter, but from what I saw, there's no reasonable explanation why he hasn't started from day one.

He played very well. He made some impressive open field tackles, and kept his man blanketed for most of the game.

thats what scared me dude. he was on the WR 99% of the time step for step. shut down status too. On that one play in the 4th, they threw to hardy and JA was STEP by STEP next to him but the ball was thrown OUt of bounce but WHAT i looked for was as the ball was going up and about 2 yards away from Hardy you saw Jason allens hip move and his legs get ready to spring up to make a play on the ball. Something that the other CBs cant do especially will allen. Its ok though, cuz if JA can produce this way then WOW. Ill take it any day.

He had a couple of bad plays early on, where I sure that there would be alot of "Are you happy now...he blew" threads...

But after that he played a solid game and had some big plays. He had a PD and 7 tackles...

Will Allen got hurt, so Jason played more than expected.

All in all...it was a good performance. However, Goodman played really well, so I don't see him replacing anyone after this game; unless, Will Allen is hurt...which I hope not. But it shows he is capable of coming in if someone is hurt...and he may see the field alot more if we go up against a team with big receivers...

He played well, most importantly he didn't miss a tackle!

he took out a 6'6 WR. compared to what we have done against 6 ft plus WR he looked like champ bailey for this defense lolll

You're absolutely right. I think JA has found his niche at corner and should start opposite Will Allen every week.

I woudlnt be surprised if he does in a week or so but definitely will get more playing time. I hope htey dont do what they did after last year, play sa lot due to injuries hten the new year comes and he is in the dog house again for some stupid reason.

I'll be the 1st to say i was scared out of my mind when jason allen entered the game... i turned to my dad and said, "He's about to get thrown on and deep"!!! we'll the Bills threw at him often, and to my suprise he HELD his OWN today!!! IF he's able to play like this the rest of the season... Miami just might not be looking to draft a CB in round #1 in the 2009 draft... again if he is capable of holding his own and show improvement from this point on... and IF miami is able to sign Chris Gamble in the off season... Miami could look else where in round #1... Allen and Roth are the 2 players who needed to show something this year for miami to be able to make an easier step foward towards solidifing those positions... without having to address them through the draft... at least in the early rounds!!! I HOPE Jason Allen has arrived... it be nice to see his athletic ability and mind be on the same page!!!

he played a good game. He got more and more comfortable as the game went on.
He has always been a solid tackler and he did that well today and he still managed to play great on special teams for us witch is huge because he seems to be the only one doing so.
BUT
Goodman played a GREAT game as well.
So couldnt be happier
Overall the whole secondary did a really good job today.
