With the experience Jason Allen has been gaining on special teams (as far as tackling, breaking down, and pursuit), I believe 100 percent in my mind that he is no way worse then gibril wilson. I think we have one more win at least on our record if he was playing saftey. Now I know he is not very good, but he can't tackle worse or play the ball worse then wilson and at least he has the speed to make up for any mistake he makes on the ball or tackling. He has not looked bad at all this year. Anyone else agree they wouldn't mind seeing jason out there.

He has not looked bad at all this year.
He's been working at corner this year, not safety. Since training camp he has practiced from the corner spots.

Culver and Clemons are the extra safeties.

Hilliard is good at ST, maybe he should play FS too?!

Seriously though, if anyone is taking Gibril's spot, it's Clemons.

We haven't seen much of him this year but what we have seen has been excellent.

Talk of him being cut is absurd. He doesn't get paid as much as some people think.

Jason Allen is great depth to have. His problems have always been mental and that can only get better with more time and experience.

I like Clemons we should have started him by now so he can gain some expirience. Hey you know no one would be talking about this if we had a Legit #1 WR . We would have won atleast 3 more game than we have. I love our WR except you know who. Hartline is nasty alot of heart gotta respect that same for Bess and Camarillo.

I got mixed feelings about him, you here how he doesn't do good in practice but when he gets on the field he does pretty good. I'm thinking he may be one of those players we talk about that got away.

J Allen is in his final year of his rookie contract right? And to this date we still havent figured out where he should be on the field. i think that is just sad.

I personally feel he plays with heavy swagger, and think he is a solid backup. As for starting material... thats a no go.

Nah, I believe he signed a 6 year deal, so he has 2 years left.

And they figured out where he belongs on the field . . . at CB and on special teams. He is no longer a safety for the Miami Dolphins. Sure, in a pinch, he could play safety . . . but that was like if all 3 QB's went down back in the day, they could put Marty Booker at QB.

I think he could be a starter, he plays some pretty good man cover and he looks as if he has improved on the slot WR's as he did a solid job on Welker in the last Patriots game.

Cause Ireland signed Wilson, when they already had more talent milling around in the secondary bullpen.

Every single one of us thought it would be a good signing. And you know what? This same guy signed Starks, Wake, and Bess. But yeah, I guess he's a total retard then, because every FA signing and draft pick is supposed to be a stud.
