Jason Cole: Dolphins concerned about Tannehill

That's the cherry pick that I'm talking about and it's almost discrediting all the other things Brady does do better to mask his average deep ball.

So I still go back to the question...based on all your excuses about this chart...if the numbers mean nothing and it doesn't matter because this guy has this receiver to bail him out or this guy does other things better to mask his BELOW average deep ball....why did u post the chart?!? It shows that some guys who aren't very good like geno have a good percentage and a hall of famer has a below average deep ball...and Tannehill is average, So...I'm just having a hard time figuring out what you're trying to prove with the chart.

Again, why doesn't everyone just ignore junc? This isn't anything new.

Meh. Carry on.

what is funny is you said he was 12-14 in 2010. You post so many lies you don't even realize when you do it.

Mark was bad the last 3 games but how did he blow it? the D allowed 31 PPG, Miami's D allowed 19.5.

keep posting #s and rankings you don't understand(and quotes you don't understand). They really help you:lol:

Sanchez did not beat a winning team all that season and couldn't rise to the occasion to step up to beat losing ones.

The biggest lie was you whining on TGG about your ban, how the mods (and it turns out some admins who laid down the law to you also) sucked and how you'd probably never come back. Yet here you are obviously having learned nothing from your 2 site bans and several thread bans as well.

I watched all the games..including 3 in person. I've also watched buttfumble every year throw into triple coverage, miss open men and then mope at the end of the bench. If 6 sacks including one that injured Tannehill vs Buffalo is not enough to convince you that 5 separate analytical services, each with their own independent methodologies ranked our OL as bottom feeders (and that doesnt count RBs and TE's who couldn't block either), then either you're living in a cocoon or your biases against our QB and the Fins just cloud even what seems to be your myopic eyesight. But I've said my piece.. and what we've established is that whatever buttfumble was in '11, Tannehill even falling short in game 16, was quantum times better. I'll just keep posting these objective stats that you obviously don't understand. You can go on with your last OCD-level wordiitis at least until the mods say "enough's enough"

Again, with the '13 jest #3 PFF and #16 Football Outsiders rated OL, it's likely last season wouldn';t have even come down to the 15th game.

It's simple....playoffs or find another qb

Eli manning has won 2 super bowls but yet last year when his line sucked he had a bad year...and he can throw the deep ball. What part of its a team sport do you morons not get? Keep spewing your stupid ass deep ball **** tho like it's the only thing that matters.

And also I never said anything about it being underrated. My point is if a qb throws he ball30 times a game probably about 27 of those throws are shorter than 30 yards. So there's maybe 3 chances in a game at a bomb pass. Qbs you probably consider elite don't hit em all the time. Its just facts.

Relax there dude.:err:

I don't think it is that simple. if the D collapses and Ryan steps up I wouldn't blame Ryan. Ryan need to prove he is a franchise guy this year, he needs to cut down TOs, make big plays and put his team in a position to win most games. if that happens you will likely make the playoffs but we'd have to see the circumstances before assessing blame.

Do you think Moore would have those numbers had he started the preseason games Tannehill did? And do you think Tannehill can't also play well vs. guys who will all mostly be cut by 4 p.m. today?
Maybe. I saw him completely tear Kansas City apart at Arrowhead in 2011. I saw him tear the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants in their own stadium in a game the Giants needed to make the playoffs. I saw him come in for Tannehill against the New York Jets and handled them like a High School team. All those games with Dan Henning as Offensive Coordinator. Let me say his name again. Dan Henning. This is the best I have ever seen him look in any pre-season since he has been in the pros. which tells me he may have found an offense that maximizes his strengths.

Huh? Dan Henning was never the offensive coordinator while Matt Moore was in Miami. In 2011 it was Brian Daboll. In 2012 and 2013 it was Mike Sherman.

I think RT has been okay in the preseason. They have moved the ball. They just have not finished drives.

Is RT the answer the next ten years? That has to be answered this year and maybe next.

Also, this staff sinks or swims with him. If they yank RT or RT fails, they are done. The ONLY way they survive is if Matt Moore gets them into January and that still might not be enough.

If Moore gets them to January I think it would be enough. It would show that Tannehill was the weak link, not Philbin and his staff. I honestly think with Marino advising, Philbin may even survive with Tannehill not taking the step. Slim chance, but maybe Marino would see that part of our problem has been the merry go round of coaches and he may want to see Philbin and his crew with another QB, rather than blow it up and start again.
