Jason Jones to sign with Dolphins

Close to deal with Jason Jones

@flasportsbuzz: Per source, Dolphins working toward deal with Jason Jones. Not done yet, but headed in that direction. More depth at DE. @Rapsheet 1st

Your obvious move with acquisitions no longer counting toward comp pick formula. Leon Hall or Antonio Cromartie next.
 
Good move. Becomes a little redundant based on our depth chart, but he's an upgrade. Hoping it's multiple years to give us more flexibility next offseason at DE, but assuming it's of the 1 year variety. A rotation of Wake, Williams, Branch and Jones is old, but effective. Next at the bare minimum Antonio Cromartie, but Leon Hall would be significantly better. Then I'd be looking at depth MLB or FS. I know people are concerned about guard, I am not one of those people. I'd be happy if another one came in, but don't view it as necessary as finding another MLB or FS for competition.

I like the move tho I know what you mean about the depth chart. Makes Branch seem a bit unneeded at a higher cost.... but I suppose if Wake or williams go down we will need both

Would be one of our worst moves all year imo.

I think foster is totally washed up and prob wont even be cheap
 
Makes sense. Between him and Branch spelling Wake and Williams some, we ought to put together a better performing DL this year.
