So he keeps trying to say we are trying to trade Wallace and the organization is completely denying. So if by some strange reason we do trade him, he gets to claim he was right (which will not happen with his contract and only 1 year into the deal). So when he's wrong and nothing happens, he'll still claim that the organization tried to trade him but there were no takers with his contract. Full ability to throw crap at the wall and if it doesn't stick, compete deniability. It's called hack journalism.
I would have every player up for trade at the right price every year.So he keeps trying to say we are trying to trade Wallace and the organization is completely denying. That mioght involve someone that's talented and would demand pay commensurate. Why do that when you've gotWish someone credible with a boatload of followers would start tweeting that a dissatisfied CBS is quietly looking for a LaCondouchebag replacement.
The Miami Herald said:CBS Sports has reported that Wallace is on the block in each of the past two months, but the Dolphins have been firm in their denials. It's quite possible that the Dolphins aren't telling the truth, but Wallace's $15 million 2014 base salary makes him all but impossible to deal. We expect he'll remain in South Beach. Apr 1 - 11:08
I would do the same thing. Not for "Unfavorable" stories, but when It's hit job after hit job....That's another thing. At what point does the team completely shun Jason LaCanfora? Nobody is to ever speak to him again. He is unwelcome in any of facilities, attending any games, training sessions, etc. To hell with freedom of the Press - the myriad of totally false speculative articles/tweets indicates that his intention is to deliberately cause trouble. He has no desire to present a factual story (with the recent exception of speculating that Knowshon Moreno was about to sign). His intent is to willfully damage the public's opinion/confidence in the team by circulating a farrago of sensational lies and to harm the relationship with key players. Because he is clearly an enemy, why not declare him as such. JLC needs to learn that there are consequences that come with the blatant lies that he reports.
His employer may be content to turn a blind eye to his "stories" in a bid for increased ratings/attention, but why not bar him completely.
Who knows, he's probably on the payroll of a competing team billionaire owner to spread BS. Why is it that JLC never writes/presents anything negative about the Patriots but he appears to have a vendetta against the Dolphins and the Jets? How can we explain this unusual phenomena? Billionaires like Kraft have minions that throw some crumbs to reporters to get favorable stories (didn't you see The Godfather movie when Tom Hayden admitted that there were journalists on the payroll).
The fact that not one single reporter besides La Canfora is reporting this should show how credible it actually is. All the local guys say it is BS, and any national reporter asked about it says they haven't heard anything. If there was truth to this and they were shopping him around the league, there would be more than one person reporting it. The fact that it is a reporter with a poor track record is what makes it either a flat our lie by Jason or poor sources. Could also be a source having fun by making Jason look like a fool among his peers.
