this is from the 2nd part of that interview jason did with that website:

Matty: Is there anything you'd like to say to all of us Dolphin fans out there who are just thrilled to have you back?
Jason: I am every bit as thrilled to be back with them as I hope they are to have me back. For 11 years, and really even during the past year when I wasn’t playing here, they have been the most supportive, loyal group of fans I could ever ask for. They supported my efforts on the field and in the community and that will never be lost on me.

Pretty sweet. he's really happy to be back, huh?
Some other good info in this part of the interview as well...so I'd say u should check it out.

thought he was going to garauntee the playoffs... that would have been cooler

I almost got choked up reading some of that. He seems to be gushing like a school girl about coming back. I couldn't be happier to have him.

He's going to kick it. Go Taylor. Go Dolphins!

Jason Taylor does indeed know that playing professional football is a business and even though he was traded to Washington last year hurt him emotionally, he understood it. He also knows I believe that his going on Dancing With The Stars didn't help his stock with Bill Parcells, probably counting on his perinnial pro bowl caliber to secure his position with the team. We live and learn. Randy Moss learned from his exile in Oakland and Jason Taylor learned from his exile in Washington.

IMHO, Jason Taylor's heart has always been in Miami and he's estatic about being back "home". Expect Jason Taylor to have another pro bowl caliber year with the Dolphins.

My prediction? He'll come close to the single season sack record set by Michael Strahan back in '02, if not break it all together. Jason knows his days are numbered in the NFL and doesn't want to be the defensive version of Dan Marino...one of the greatest at his position and NOT win a Super Bowl.

God, how much longer 'til football season???

I think it was planned all along. Trade JT, have him play bad and then re-sign him after being released and use that 2nd pick. The skins got the short end of the stick on behalf of Parcells & Co. LOL!!!

absolutely love having him back in miami. with brady back, we're gonna need him.

Good read, thanks! i'm excited as hell to have Jason back. I've always admired the way he plays the game. So glad he didn't turn out to be another Brett Favre and join the Jets, and on that note, what a way to go out!

Not necessarily true Dole. Remember the fiasco a few years back, the sweepstakes between Drew Brees and Donte Culpepper, how everyone was saying that with a QB, you're more concerned about a shoulder than you are a knee? Well, we all saw how that turned out. We got the "cannon" arm and the bum wheel and as a result, Culpepper didn't do squat.

The Patriots are POTENTIALLY in the same predictament with Brady. The first time he drops back...the first time he gets hit...that will be the tell all tale.

Sorry man but Brady isn't going to pull a Culpepper and get hurt by a feather touching his knee. WE WILL need JT back for Tom Brady, he is a Brady killer. He's the one who's sacked Brady most in his career. He has a taste for the Patriots signal caller like no other for some reason.

Oh and I'm glad he's back just because of my own nostalgic reasons as well.

I always like JT a lot! I just didn't like the way he handled things before last season. After a little humble pie...welcome back JT, should have never left!

I think maybe this is what he needed to realize just how great Miami really is :D

And what happened to your rep? Tried to help you out with the little I have

I would be just as happy to be back if I had to live in DC.

MESSAGE TO JASON TAYLOR:

"The Miami Dolphins fans are excited to have you back and forgive any friction that may have taken place in the past", "However, if you can not beat out the other players in training camp and preseason you can go sign for the minimum with Danny Snyder again and we will move on without you..."

P.S. "Thanks for the old memories and hopefully the "Super" new ones in the immediate future."

Signed,

EVERY DOLPHAN
